What Happened To The Fastest Man Under Any Conditions?
Last August 16 in Beijing we saw a massive upset in the semifinal heat of the 100meter sprint when one of the prerace favorites Tyson Gay failed to qualify by 0.02 seconds. It was supposed to be the scene for the biggest race of the Beijing 2008 Olympics the sprint to see who will be crowned the world’s fastest man.
Usain Bolt went into that night’s final as the competitor to beat after clocking the fastest time in the semifinal 9.85 seconds. The time put him ahead of fellow Jamaican Asafa Powell who ran in 9.91 seconds and Richard Thompson of Trinidad and Tobago in 9.93 seconds.
Reigning world champion in the 100m and 200m Gay with a recent hamstring injury failed to qualify after running a time of 10.05 seconds. Gay was the United States best chance for gold. Gay before the Olympics was the fastest man under any conditions at 9.68
After the August 15 heats Marc Burns of Trinidad and Tobago predicted a sub9.90 semifinal at least from himself. “I’m just trying to make it through my rounds but expect 9.80 something” he said. He ran in 9.97 seconds.
Before competition began three fastest man hopefuls all have different fastest man titles to themselves already were tagged as favorites going into this event.
Despite his world titles Gay’s dominance was in doubt after sustaining a hamstring injury in the 200m at the US National Trials in Oregon along with the emergence of the new ‘world’s fastest man’ Usain Bolt. Bolt came from relative obscurity to worldwide attention in the 100m at a Grand Prix event on Long Island New York in late May after dominating the field and breaking the world record in a time of 9.72 seconds a stunning result for anyone let alone a runner who had been seen as a 200m specialist.
He was then recognized as Gay’s main rival along with fellow Jamaican Asafa Powell the former record holder in 100m.
Powell was formerly Gay’s only obstacle in the way of the Olympic title and had held the record at 9.74 seconds before Bolt’s run in New York.
The 100m is never a two horse race however. Jamaican Michael Frater ran faster than Powell in Round One.
“When you are out there there are no favorites” finalist Walter Dix said after round one.
The final was held last August 16 at the National Stadium in Beijing with Usain Bolt as the winner breaking his own official time record. The following are the entrants to that race fainals.
Men’s 100m finalists:
1. Usain Bolt Jamaica 9.85
2. Asafa Powell Jamaica 9.91
3. Richard Thompson Trinidad/Tobago 9.93
4. Churandy Martina Netherlands Antilles 9.94
5. Walter Dix United States 9.95
6. Marc Burns Trinidad/Tobago 9.97
7. Michael Frater Jamaica 10.01
8. Darvis Patton United States 10.03

What Does Break A Bone? In Bible Versus Quran?

The Reign and Indignation of God When you see this your heart shall rejoice And your bones shall flourish like grass; The hand of the LORD shall be known to His servants And His indignation to His enemies.
The two important subjects that is present in the Bible and the Quran.
1a The revival of the dead in this life in the Bible
Ezekiel 37:1 You better read all the chapter 37
The Dry Bones Live The hand of the LORD came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the LORD and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones.
Ezekiel 37:3
And He said to me Son of man can these bones live?” So I answered O Lord GOD You know.
Ezekiel 37:4
Again He said to me Prophesy to these bones and say to them O dry bones hear the word of the LORD!
Ezekiel 37:5
Thus says the Lord GOD to these bones: Surely I will cause breath to enter into you and you shall live.
Ezekiel 37:7
So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied there was a noise and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together bone to bone.
Ezekiel 37:11
Then He said to me Son of man these bones are the whole house of Israel. They indeed say Our bones are dry our hope is lost and we ourselves are cut off!
1b The revival of the dead in this life in the Quran:
Surah 2: 259 Or take the similitude of one who passed by a hamlet all in ruins to its roofs. He said: “Oh! how shall Allah bring it ever to life after this its death?” But Allah caused him to die for a hundred years then raised him up again. He said: “How long didst thou tarry thus?” He said: “Perhaps a day or part of a day.” He said: “Nay thou hast tarried thus a hundred years; but look at thy food and thy drink; they show no signs of age: and look at thy donkey; and that We may make of thee a Sign unto the people look further at the bones how We bring them together and clothe them with flesh!” When this was shown clearly to him he said: “I know that Allah hath power over all things.”
2a Bone formation in the fetus in the Bible:
In the Bible
Ecclesiastes 11:5
As you do not know what is the way of the wind Or how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child So you do not know the works of God who makes everything.
2b Bone formation in the fetus in the Quran:
Surah 23: 14
Then We made the sperm into a clot of congealed blood; then of that clot We made a fetus lump; then We made out of that lump bones and clothed the bones with flesh; then We developed out of it another creature. So blessed be Allah the Best to create!
The embryo is a boneless lump. Its cartilage tissue is transformed into bones in due time as stated in the Quran followed by their being clothed in muscular flesh. This process was unknown 1400 years ago. It was believed that the bones and muscles developed simultaneously. Sophisticated microscopes and micro cameras introduced into the uterus corroborated once again the truth expressed in this verse.
The Bones in the Quran:
The big issue that is present in the Quran but is not found in the Bible in when talking about the bones
The revival of the dead in the afterlife
Surah 17: 49 They say: “What! when we are reduced to bones and dust should we really be raised up to be a new creation?”
Surah 17: 98 That is their recompense because they rejected Our Signs. And said “When we are reduced to bones and broken dust should we really be raised up to be a new Creation?
Surah 23: 35 “Does he promise that when ye die and become dust and bones ye shall be brought forth again?
Surah 23: 82 They say: “What! When we die and become dust and bones could we really be raised up again?
Surah 36: 78 And he makes comparisons for Us and forgets his own origin and Creation: he says “Who can give life to dry bones and decomposed ones at that?”
Surah 36: 79 Say “He will give them life Who created them for the first time! for He is wellversed in every kind of creation!
Surah 37: 16 “What! when we die and become dust and bones shall we then be raised up again?
Surah 37: 53 “When we die and become dust and bones shall we indeed receive rewards and punishments?’”
Surah 56: 47 And they used to say “What! when we die and become dust and bones shall we then indeed be raised up again?
Surah 75: 3 Does man think that We cannot assemble his bones?
Surah 79: 10 They say now: “What! Shall we indeed be returned to our former state?
Surah 79: 11 “What! When we shall Have become rotten bones?”
Surah 79: 12 They say: “It would in that case be a return with loss!”
Then take care of that day hoping that your return in the afterlife is not a loss.

Weight Training For Women:the Biggest Mistakelast Part3rd
3rd part
Read2nd part here:
STRENGTH TRAINING AND WOMEN2nd part
5. The biggest mistake women do with weight training
Women do not tax their muscles properly. They generally use very light weights incapable of eliciting a decent response and some satisfactory results.
Muscles need an adequate stimulant if a distinct difference is desired.
My view is that women fall victims to some deeply rooted stereotypes.According thesewomen being delicate creaturesare not compatible with heavy weights.
This I believe is very far from the truth!Women have excellent potential as far as it regards weightlifting.
Despite this the typical case is that of women performing endless repetitions with 23kg dumbbells.
This is a pure loss of precious time!
Do they seek muscle definition?
This is not the right way!To have some valuable insight into muscle definition I would urge you to read my article :
“Muscle definition:the absolute article”
Are they afraid of bulking up?
This is a competely groundless fear since the hormonal profile of womenmuch different from that of men will not favor bulking up for all natural female athletes.Full stop!
6. Therefore women should adopt the concept of progressive overload.Ounce by ounce!
And what is the limit?
You will never know until you reach it!
7.Your most efficient way to success:
3 workouts per week
only total body workouts
only compound/multijoint movements
high intensity with minimal breaks
duration: 20’30′
8. There is no upper age limit!
Most elderly women would reap tremendous benefits from weight training.
Get free from this kind of prejudices!
Having said thatI feel obliged to admit that elderly women dealing with weight training in Greece are in serious danger to be confined in the cuckoo’s nest!!
9. And one promise or admonition if you want to take it like that :
Weight training can make you fall in love with your mirror!
10. There is no possibility as with all other forms of trainingfor local weight/ fat loss.
Neverthelessweight training will always be a powerfl ally in your perpetual fight against fat.
11. Definetely you do not have to frequent the gyms to have some positive results. You can absolutely achieve them in the comfort of your home. The necessary equipment is minimal!
12.In the beginning you might find serious weight training as demanding and painful. However as the time passes and you reap the full benefits of your efforts you will thank yourself for your persistence and commitment!
13. Skip it if you are superstitious!
As you indulge in weight training you might notice to your dismay that the scale pointer is moving upwards.
This is both logical and expected since you build muscle and muscle is much heavier than fat.
It is high time to recycle your scale and trust your mirror or your beloved pair of jeans.
